TMLF is proud to announce that Attorney Eric Faulkner will be heading to Israel this summer with his home church, The First Baptist Church of Winter Garden, to take part in The Holy Land Project. Attorney Faulkner will be part of a team that will travel to Israel for 10 days to help local Christian leaders from around that nation conduct a youth camp and work on construction and maintenance at a local camp facility.  FBC Winter Garden has been participating in the Israel project since the late 1990’s.  Over the years the camp and project have grown consistently and in the summer of 2009 the camp was blessed to serve over 100 students, the highest number of participants yet. While that may seem small here in Florida where youth group activities and church camps are the norm, it is quite a gathering in a place where the typical “youth group” consists of 1 or 2 committed students!

The team Attorney Faulkner is traveling with will assist local leaders with recreation, seminar development and teaching, drama, music, and personal counseling for students in need.  The team looks forward to working with and alongside Israeli young people as servants in all tasks.  After the camp has concluded, the team plans to spend a couple days visiting some of the most significant locations in biblical history, such as the Sea of Galilee, the Temple Mount, and the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.  The Marks Law Firm is excited to join with Attorney Faulkner in praying for and supporting The Holy Land Project and we can’t wait to hear of all the wonderful things that we know will happen during the trip.
