Rosemary Perry
Rosemary joined The Marks Law Firm, P.A. – Family Law & Divorce Attorneys in August 2022, as a Paralegal. Within less than 6 months of hire, Rosemary was promoted to the firm’s Senior Paralegal and served in that role until May 2024, when she was sworn into the Florida Bar as an attorney.
Originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts, Rosemary moved to Florida in 2003, upon being awarded a full collegiate basketball scholarship from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. Prior to moving on to play semi-professional basketball in Puerto Rico, Rosemary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Florida Southern College, cum laude, where she double majored in Criminology and Sociology.
Rosemary has always had a passion for advocating and assisting others through hard times. Through her own dealings, Rosemary has experienced how scary and hard it can be for a person to advocate for themselves and navigate a system of unfamiliar resources, while going through some of life’s most difficult challenges. Because of this experience, Rosemary followed her passion and went on to earn a Master of Public Administration degree, with Distinction, in 2010, and started her career with the Florida Department of Children and Families, assisting and advocating for children and parents often left without a voice.
For more than a decade, Rosemary has been a Florida Board Certified Child Welfare Case Manager. In that role, Rosemary worked closely with the Guardian Ad Litem program and Children’s Legal Services serving hundreds of families within the Seminole, Orange, Brevard, Hillsborough, Polk, and Pinellas County Dependency Court systems.
Rosemary is a dedicated and experienced legal professional and is a highly motivated attorney who effectively evaluates disputes, works to communicate in a direct and timely manner, and focuses on efficiently resolving issues. Her goal is to always provide support, professionalism, and compassion for those going through the difficulties of a family law conflict.
